Artiste Day 6!

So sorry about last night! Happy to be up and creating again! So this is the Artiste Blog hop. There will be a full list of ladies at the end so be sure to check out all their creations! Just a recap the Artiste bundle comes with 125.00 worth of product for just 99.00!

Today's shape was Baby booties! I was so excited to see this shape, it works perfect for gifts, home decor, baby shower decorations, the possibilities are endless. I chose to use the gift idea. I also created a little card to go with. For my card I used the New Arrival stamp set. It was in the Spring/Summer idea book, but it is available through the Winter/Fall idea book! I would snatch it up because it is adorable!!

Baby Bootie filled with Hair ties. Card is front only.

I put hair clips on either side of the shoe. I used the variety sparkle assortment to give the shoe some bling.

These will take some practice. This is my 3rd and it is still a little mishapen but worth it!!

Please remeber to check out the other amazing creations in this blog hop! Happy Hopping!

Artiste Day 4!

Welcome to day 4 of the Artiste blog hop! For those of you that do not know I am participating in a blog hop to show off Close To My Heart's new Cricut cartridge Artiste! Artiste has 700 images you can make on it and it comes to you at a GREAT price. Artiste comes as a bundle: you get 3 c-sized stamp sets, 3 dimensional chipboard element collections, and the cartridge. Now all this values at 125.00, however we are selling it to you for 99.00! There really is no end to the beautiful things you can create!

So today was a free day for our image so I chose to show you the amazing pop-up cards you make with this cartridge! I also wanted to show you the versatility that comes with the Cricut. By being able to choose your own size you can make any of these items for any occasion! I created a regular sized card and a mini one to go with my mini gable box!

This is the front of the regular card, cut at 5 inches. The sentiment says "Find what things bring you joy and go there" It is from the La Belle Vie stamp set. The corner peice and hearts come from our new promotional stamp set. (More on
                                                      that at the end!
This is the inside of the card. All I had to do was fold on the lines! I added a hand written note at the bottom, for a personal touch.

This is the mini card. It is the same corner decoration and heart from the same stamp set as the regular card. My mini was cut at 3 inches.

The two cards side by side show you the size difference.  The paper I used for the insides of my two cards is from the La Belle Vie paper pack. I must say it is a favorite of mine!

I promised to tell you more on the stamp set I used for these! It is a promotional stamp set you can get for just 5.00.  Starting August 15 you can get not 1 but 2 c sized stamp sets for 5.00. All you have to do is have a purchase of 35.00 or more! Let's not forget our stamp of the month as well so this means you can get 3 stamp sets for 10.00 with a purchase of 50.00 or more! If you get the Artiste cartridge this will qualify you for both!

Remember this is a hop, so hop on over to the next blog and if you missed the amazing ladies before me be sure to circle back around! Complete list below!

Day 3 Artiste!

Today is a free day for our Artiste Blog hop! I am very excited to show you the purse I made to hold gift cards! First things first though, let me tell you about the GREAT deal you can get with the Artiste purchase. You get 3 c-sized stamp sets, 3 dimensional elements and the cartridge itself. This is a 125.00 value for 99.00 (sorry I added the .99 on the other blogs, I messed up on the price!)

So as I said earlier I made a purse! The artiste features a few different options for purses but I wanted something that looked girly as well as had a closure. I am making a few of these for a friend that does nails, the idea in when a customer buys a gift card it can come prewrapped! That is why it needed to be kinda girly. :)

So this is the completed purse, I used a wooden badge button as my closure.

The bow is bakers twine with a hat pin from
the Bling collection.

Sponging accessories is a great way to add color but still let the wood color show through. In the picture on the bottom left you can see an example of this technique. On the top left I used a hat pin for just a little bit of sparkle!

The badge button is sponged with Smoothie ink,
I just wanted to
give it a blush of color.

Don't forget to check out the other wonderful ladies before and after me! I can't wait to see what they have created. Full list below!! Happy Hopping!

Day 2 Artiste in August!

So just a review for anyone who missed the first fabulous day of this blog hop, 15 other consultants and myself are creating a new project with an assigned shape from the Close To My Heart's Artiste Cricut Cartridge. The Artiste cartridge bundle comes with 3 c-size stamp sets, 3 dimensional elements and the Artiste Cartridge with over 700 images! 125.00 dollars in value for 99.99! That is a screamin' deal.
If you are starting at my blog you can continue on, but be sure to check out the fabulous ladies before me! There are some very creative ladies to learn from on this hop.

So our shape for today is the Gable Box (Pg 37 in handbook, 7 in the assembly book.) I saw this shape and immediately thought my boyfriend needed a wall charger for his Ipod! In today's electrical world there are tons of little gifts out there to give! Whether it is a camera memory card or a wall charger, this box will allow you to have the perfect gift wrap. You can also cut the box bigger if you gift is not so small. That is the great thing about cricuting, you choose the size so it always fits! I chose the Pemberly paper because it is Manly but allowed me to still embellish well. It really does have a great balance! I chose the love u because I plan to use this box for his anniversary gift!

This is the Gable box, I cut it at 5 inches.

This picture is a little dark but I was trying to show how deep the box goes.

Here I just wanted to showcase the front.
I used the dimensional elements that come with the package. The stamp also comes with the cartridge. I love the word bubbles on this cartridge I just think they are so cute!!

The swirls you stamped on the dimensional element behind love u, is from the August Stamp Of The Month. When you buy this cartridge you will qualify to get that stamp set for only 5.00!

Like I said if I am your first stop make sure and check out all the ladies before and after me. They are truly Amazing! I have the whole list posted below. Happy Hopping!

Artiste In August Day 1

So this is the start of out Artiste in August! Artitiste in August is to show the versitility of Close To My Heart's new Cricut cartridge, Artiste! All the consultants doing the blog hop have a shape, we will all create something with that shape and post it on our blogs for you to see. Make sure and visit all the blogs to see all the great things you can do! Also know when you get the Artiste collection it comes with 3 stamp sets and 3 dimensional elements! That makes the package a screaming deal at $99.99.

The Artiste Collection!

For the first day we are working with the magazine file (pg 47 in the cut-out guide and 18 in the assembly book). When I saw this I automatically thought, card collection holder! I think it would be great as a gift for the person who hates to buy cards!
Magazine holder and cards

Looking at the spine.

Magazine File and cards

The Magazine File was cut at 6 inches on the Cricut, with material saver on. I used some left over Dotty For You paper, which sadly was a special and is no longer available.

The shape you see on the spine is from the August Stamp Of The Month, which if you buy the Artiste Collection is only 5 dollars! It is really a great buy!

The stamp set used on the card is Love Cluster and is still available! It was in the Spring/Summer idea book, but I can still get it for you!

The picture to your right is the finished project, put together and
ready to give!

As I said this is a blog hop so be sure to check out the other wonderful creations! I know I will be! Also if you missed the fabulous ladies before me be sure to go check them out!!
