H2H Challenge Wedding Invitation

So I am just in a challenge mood! The Heart to Heart challenge was to create something to do with weddings. Well I have been working on an invitations for a friends wedding so I thought I would share. She just approved them about a week ago.

I used Vineyard Berry as the back-splash and the 'M'. The swirls are from a retired stamp-set Instant Memories, and are stamped in Cocoa. I sponged the inside of the gate-fold with Desert Sand. Colonial White cardstock is used for the invite shell, and Vanilla Bean cardstock is under the Vellum. Stella is the front of the invites. Her colors as you can tell are quite dark so I tried to make the invite as girly as possible.

This is the closed invitation. The front is Stella. The hearts swirls are
stamped with Card Chatter-Love, in Cocoa.

A piece of Vellum is printed with all their invitation info. The side are
sponged with Desert Sand ink.

The background, underneath the Vellum, on Vanilla Bean cardstock. The spay was done
using Close To My Heart's spray pens with Vineyard Berry reinker. The "M" is also Vineyard Berry paper.

  5. Danielle, I made the gate-fold (for a 6x6 card) by cutting a 6x12 piece of paper and scoring it 3 inches in on each side. You should have a 6x6 space in the middle you can decorate any way you want. I put the initial of their last name and put vellum over it but the sky is the limit! I would love to see what you create!
