Day 3 Artiste!

Today is a free day for our Artiste Blog hop! I am very excited to show you the purse I made to hold gift cards! First things first though, let me tell you about the GREAT deal you can get with the Artiste purchase. You get 3 c-sized stamp sets, 3 dimensional elements and the cartridge itself.  So as I said earlier I made a purse! The artiste features a few different options for purses but I wanted something that looked girly as well as had a closure. I am making a few of these for a friend that does nails, the idea in when a customer buys a gift card it can come prewrapped! That is why it needed to be kinda girly. :)

So this is the completed purse, I used a wooden badge button as my closure.

The bow is bakers twine with a hat pin from
the Bling collection. 

Sponging accessories is a great way to add color but still let the wood color show through. In the picture on the bottom left you can see an example of this technique. On the top left I used a hat pin for just a little bit of sparkle!

The badge button is sponged with Smoothie ink,
I just wanted to
give it a blush of color.
